We invite you to be part of a new Bible study series following the Palmerdale Cross Reading Plan. Together, we will walk through Scripture with intention, exploring the cultural context, historical background, and challenging passages that often raise questions or require deeper understanding.
Each week, participants will be encouraged to share biblical truths discovered during their personal time with God and His Word. Through guided discussion and thoughtful reflection, we will seek to understand how these truths apply to our everyday lives, fostering genuine spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Christ. Understanding The Book of Hebrews
Facilitator: Donny Holley
Room 211
As we dive into the study of Hebrews, we’ll soon discover that numerous ancient springs from the Old Testament contribute to its fresh message to God’s people. Rich in history, vibrant in imagery, and eloquent in style, the book of Hebrews has the words to refresh our minds and cleanse our souls.
This magnificent letter to the Hebrews was written to a group of first-century Christians who were in danger of giving up. The letter appeals to all these severely tested believers to keep their faith firmly anchored to Jesus Christ and to press on to mature Christian stability. This study will encourage us to stand firm in hard times and look to Christ as our Anchor, Priest and King. Nothing is of greater importance in our own time than a reminder of the immense dimensions of the biblical doctrine of Christ.
